Key Responsibilities:- Interpret welding process specifications and read blueprints, drawings, and manuals to ensure accurate execution.
- Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications, and operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to achieve precise results.
- Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to fabricate and repair auto body parts.
- Determine weldability of materials and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
