About the Role:
BCIT's Information Technology Services department is seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Manager, Cloud Technology and Systems. This position participates as a member of the ITS management team, contributing to the development of strategies, plans, and policies for the Institute.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-performance IT operations teams with capacity to provide state-of-the-art support across the Institute.
- Leads Enterprise Cloud Technology and Enterprise Systems teams in delivery of industry-leading foundation services across the Institute.
- Manages the delivery of user services such as cloud security operations, Linux systems, identity and access management, integration services, and monitoring of services.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
- Eight years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, System Environment management, software development, network maintenance, technology infrastructure, continuous improvement, and leading matrix organizations at progressive levels of responsibility.
