Job Summary

Seven Oaks General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support services to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient care and daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
  • Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to perform various tasks and duties related to patient care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care and support services.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Grade 10 education or equivalent.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized college or successful completion of second-year Baccalaureate Nursing Program courses.
  • BCLS and/or Heart Saver certification (where required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
