About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automobile Insurance Agent to join our team at Sussex Insurance Agency (Kelowna) Inc. As an Automobile Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for assessing potential client markets, calculating premiums, and establishing client insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess potential institutional, business, or individual client markets to identify opportunities for insurance coverage.
  • Calculate premiums and establish client insurance coverage to meet their needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and exceeded.
  • Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft, and other types of insurance to clients.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is an asset.
  • Provincial or territorial license to practice as an insurance agent.
Work Environment

As an Automobile Insurance Agent, you will work in a fast-paced environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to have excellent oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team.
