We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at KONIMAX RESTORATION INC. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to woodworking and construction.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build and Install Structures: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and Install Components: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Maintain and Repair Structures: Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
As a Carpenter at KONIMAX RESTORATION INC, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and handling heavy loads. You will be required to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, judgement, reliability, team player, and ability to work in a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours per week.
