About the Role

The Equity Compensation Plan Administrator is responsible for administering all of Magna's equity-based compensation plans for the Board of Directors, senior leaders, and other employees. This role involves maintaining and reporting outstanding share capital, as well as insider reporting.

Your Responsibilities
  • Execute the transition from Excel-based equity compensation processes to a third-party platform.
  • Administer Executive stock option and Performance Stock Unit (PSU) grants, exercises, redemptions, and cancellations.
  • Handle Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grants, redemptions, and cancellations for non-Executive employees.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Tax, HR, Legal, and other personnel in connection with the above.
  • Provide general compensation forecasting and analysis.
Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of work-related experience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Highly organized and efficient in managing workload.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with stock-based compensation terms and concepts.
  • Experience in compensation forecasting and administration.
  • Proficiency with Excel and third-party tech platforms such as Global Shares/ShareWorks.
