Key Responsibilities- Champion the centralization of program leadership to streamline operations and improve care quality.
- Lead the integration of medical services across the organization, fostering a unified and integrated approach to healthcare delivery.
- Enhance academic and research collaborations that contribute to Halton Healthcare's mission and community impact.
- Drive strategic initiatives that promote patient-centered care and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will be a physician licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario or eligible for licensure. You will be an experienced, inclusive, and visionary leader with credentials and experience in both medical leadership and clinical practice. You will be firm, fair, and highly regarded in your field of medical practice and have a breadth of medical leadership experience in formal leadership roles.
You will be equally comfortable in the clinical and administrative environments, understanding the needs of physicians in hospitals, and able to support them in change management and opportunities for integrated care. You will possess superb interpersonal, communication (oral and written), negotiation, and change management skills and have a history of providing leadership to and team building with professional and clinical staff.
Recognized as an effective change leader and successful in building relationships, you will have demonstrated your commitment to quality improvement and broader systems-level change. You will provide strategic leadership in an evolving, patient-centered healthcare organization and industry, partnering with multi-level internal and external stakeholders.
