About the Role

AbCellera is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and sustainment of AbCellera's Business Applications, partnering with business process owners, IT professionals, and cross-functional analysts to support the process and data needs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain AbCellera's business applications, including ERP (SAP S/4HANA), Procurement (Coupa), Integration (Boomi), and Planning/Forecasting (SAP Analytics Cloud) business applications.
  • Partner with IT & business teams to design, implement, and integrate new capabilities and functionality within our Business Applications suite.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, evaluating and driving improvements to business-critical processes and data through our cross-functional architecture group.
  • Embed into cross-functional project teams as a technical expert to support the full lifecycle of software implementation.
  • Partner with business data owners to investigate and remediate data quality issues; take ownership for process and system improvements to prevent repeat events.
  • Plan, test, and execute system updates to maintain system availability and enable new capabilities.
  • Collaborate with audit & quality teams to evaluate, test, and maintain business applications to meet our compliance needs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Application Analyst, Software Developer, or in a related role, plus a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics).
  • Demonstrated technical experience configuring and maintaining SAP S4/HANA for Finance and/or Manufacturing; experience supporting and maintaining other SAP products, such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Signavio would be desirable.
  • Significant experience working cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment, including effectively communicating with stakeholders, setting clear and reasonable expectations, and working together to achieve progress.
  • Experience evaluating, documenting, and testing business requirements against newly developed features and capabilities.
  • Previous experience or an interest in the Biotechnology, Pharma, or Life Sciences industries; experience with or exposure to a GMP or SOX regulated organization would be an asset.
  • Familiarity or previous experience with spend management applications such as Coupa or Ariba, as well as experience with Analytics, Business Intelligence, ETL, or Data Warehousing tools and practices.
  • Familiarity or previous experience developing or maintaining applications integrations, with Dell Boomi being a desirable asset.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages, preferably Python.
What We Offer

AbCellera's hiring range for this role is CAD $77,800 - $97,200 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution.
