We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Rangeela Modern Indian Kitchen & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all food preparation and presentation meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Support for Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
  • Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
