Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Helper to join our team at Rangeela Modern Indian Kitchen & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Training and Support
  • Will train on the job
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers
Work Environment
  • Permanent position
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language
