Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at China-Mart Wholesale Ltd. This is a permanent, 30 hours per week position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services that meet the company's needs.
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased, ensuring alignment with the company's goals.
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers to secure the best deals.
  • Consult with suppliers to resolve any issues and ensure timely delivery.
  • Review quotations to ensure they meet the company's requirements.
  • Determine contract terms and conditions, including payment schedules and delivery timelines.
  • Award contracts to the most suitable parties after careful evaluation.
  • Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Contact clients and suppliers to address any concerns and resolve problems efficiently.
Special Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in negotiation, procurement, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively is critical.
