Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services. Your excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail will enable you to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies, negotiate offers from suppliers, and award contracts to suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services to support our operations.
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Award contracts to suppliers based on their ability to meet our requirements.
  • Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
  • Plan and oversee operational logistics to ensure seamless execution of our business activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
