Reliable Maintenance Technician for Food Manufacturing

Industrial Millwright Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Industrial Millwright to join our dynamic maintenance team in Concord. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth of our food manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns on production lines, including mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, replacing faulty or worn mechanical components, and conducting other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Complete regular preventive maintenance checklists on machinery, inspecting and servicing pumps, chains, belts, pulleys, control panels, valves, air solenoids, actuators, and checking oil levels.
  • Request spare parts when needed and maintain detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Millwright 433A certification.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food and packaging.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic controls, high-speed packaging equipment, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Superior knowledge of packaging line setup, palletizers, tube lines, and mixers.
  • Boiler experience is an asset.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Self-directed, motivated team player, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to read blueprints and operational manuals.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance shop equipment.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is $45 per hour, with premiums and overtime pay available. This provides a competitive compensation package that reflects the skills and experience required for this position.
