Job Title: Concrete Forms Carpenter

Meca Forming Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The work environment is physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
