Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of our database systems, ensuring the integrity and availability of our data. You will work closely with our IT team to design, implement, and maintain our database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain our database systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Design and implement database solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain database documentation and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and implement new technologies.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in database administration.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and data modeling.
  • Experience with database design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based database solutions.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Experience with database security and compliance.
  • Certifications in database administration (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server).
