About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Arden Holdings Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure data accuracy, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Design and Implementation: Design and implement database systems to meet business requirements, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Database Security: Implement and maintain database security measures to safeguard sensitive data, including access controls, encryption, and backup procedures.
  • Database Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
  • Database Maintenance: Schedule and perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, updates, and patches.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in database administration and management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL), strong knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery, experience in database performance tuning and optimization techniques, and solid understanding of SQL and database query optimization.
