We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of Home Care Support Worker in Clarenville and surrounding communities.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide care and companionship to individuals and families during periods of incapacitation, convalescence, or family disruption.

In this role, you will administer bedside and personal care to clients, including assistance with ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and undressing.

You will also plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist clients as needed.

Additional responsibilities may include routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting with medication administration, and collecting specimens under the supervision of a home care agency nurse.

Routine housekeeping duties like laundry, washing dishes, and making beds may also be part of your daily tasks.

To succeed in this position, you should have a secondary school education and possess excellent communication skills.

Previous experience as a home care worker is an asset, as is completion of a training program in care of the elderly.

A great attitude and patience are essential qualities for this role.
