About the Role:

Total Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their mobility and flexibility.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train for the role.
  • Ability to work in a rural area and in clients' homes.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required.
  • Physically demanding role.
