Job Summary

Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled Lead Technician to join our team in Ottawa, ON. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting electric vehicle deployments, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overseeing the activities of Service Technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support electric vehicle deployments and ensure customer satisfaction for vehicles in and out of warranty.
  • Oversee the activities of Service Technicians, including troubleshooting, parts ordering, and part replacement.
  • Investigate root cause and develop countermeasures for repeat failures.
  • Analyze Mean Distance Between Failure data and issue reliability reports for customers.
  • Support fleet-wide campaign activities and visit customer and company garages regularly to work with local teams.
  • Find viable commercial and technical solutions to ensure client satisfaction and act as liaison with internal teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Be on-call during weekends and evenings and safeguard organizational and personal information confidentially.

Requirements
  • College diploma in Avionics Technician or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of hands-on and technical experience in the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, such as J12939 CAN loggers, and ability to communicate globally across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong customer focus, and positive attitude.
  • Independence and resourcefulness, confident and effective decision-maker, and strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Bilingualism (French-English) in speaking and writing is an asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the client site and technical documentation.
