Trenchless Engineering Specialist

CCI Inc. is a multi-disciplinary company offering services in various fields, including Trenchless Technology and Open-Cut pipeline construction methods.

We are looking for a highly skilled Junior Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing drawings, completing pipeline stress analysis, conducting feasibility assessments for trenchless crossings, and preparing costs in accordance with CCI Inc.'s codes, standards, and drawings.

This role will primarily support Trenchless Engineering projects and work under the supervision of a P.Eng.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare drawings and reports
  • Complete pipe design calculations
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering documents
  • Support senior personnel in completing engineering processes as required
  • Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes
  • Project management duties as needed
  • Assist in completion of project proposals and cost estimates
  • Interact with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Work is office-based with periodic project site visits as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Geotechnical preferred)
  • Registration as an Engineer-in-Training with APEGA
  • Experience in a related pipeline and/or trenchless field is considered an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
