Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at YOO RENTALS VAN LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, making beds and changing sheets, distributing clean towels and toiletries, cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfecting operating rooms and other areas, cleaning and disinfecting elevators, handling and reporting lost and found items, providing basic information on facilities, and picking up debris and emptying trash containers.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Clean and disinfect elevators
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Provide basic information on facilities
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Clean changing rooms and showers
Requirements:
  • Experience an asset
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
