Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Congregation Beth Israel. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements:
  • Availability: Must be available for the advertised start date.
  • Legal Status: Must be legally able to work in Canada.
  • Relocation: Willing to relocate for this position.
  • Residency: Currently reside in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Experience: Will train, previous experience in this field of employment is an asset.
Working Conditions:
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
