**Business Systems Analyst (Regina) - Paradigm Consulting Group**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Paradigm Consulting Group in Regina. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their business objectives by analyzing and improving their business processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Requirements Analysis**: Participate in requirements analysis and verification sessions for complex projects and lead requirements analysis and verification sessions for less complex projects.
  • **Business Needs Analysis**: Analyze, define, and interpret business needs and issues by gathering, analyzing, documenting, validating, and supporting the business area(s) and user(s) technical (functional/non-functional) requirements.
  • **Solution Development**: Determine user needs and requirements and recommend ways to improve systems.
  • **Issue Tracking**: Identify, document, report, and track project issues.
  • **Methodology Knowledge**: Working knowledge of various methodologies such as agile, waterfall, scrum, hybrid.
  • **Document Creation**: Creation of BRD, FRD, use cases, user stories, JAD sessions, and other project-related documents.
  • **Functional Specifications**: Translate business requirements into functional specifications, manage changes to such specifications, and educate the IT organization on the direction of the business.
  • **Process Analysis**: Gather information about the customer's work processes and information flows.
  • **Technology Knowledge**: Has knowledge and background of other technologies and tools.
  • **Business Acumen**: Has a basic understanding of business, market, and industry issues facing a specific business unit or function.
  • **Testing and Quality Assurance**: Ensure all user acceptance tests are conducted and documented according to standards. Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • **Change Management**: Assist and/or lead the change management activities to ensure complete user adoption of changes implemented.
  • **Public Sector Experience**: Experience working within the public sector (government ministries, Crown corporations) is a strong asset.
  • **Government Operations**: Excellent understanding of government operations and work in the industry.
