Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Welder Helper to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Welder Helper, you will assist our experienced welders in preparing and cleaning metal products, operating metal cleaning equipment, and performing various tasks to ensure high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist welders in preparing metal products for welding, including cleaning and degreasing surfaces.
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to remove contaminants.
  • Sort and organize metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles to transport materials and products.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish as required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced production environment. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Dependability and reliability are essential.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
