Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Assistant to join our team at s.s.w construction Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting welders in the fabrication of metal products, ensuring high-quality finishes and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist welders in operating metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, and other materials from metal products.
  • Sort and organize metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and work areas, and load and unload vehicles.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish and read and interpret work orders.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts using hand tools and equipment.
  • Transport materials and tools to and from work areas.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
