Your Opportunity:

The X-Ray Imaging Specialist position is a key role within Diagnostic Imaging Services, responsible for delivering high-quality imaging examinations to patients in an efficient and safe manner.

Description:

As an X-Ray Imaging Specialist, you will perform a variety of technical radiological imaging examinations on patients for disease diagnosis. You will interpret physician requisitions, prepare patients for examination, produce diagnostic images for review, and assist with equipment care and maintenance. This may include procedures such as general radiography, fluoroscopy, and mobile examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality imaging examinations
  • Prepare and assess patients for examination
  • Produce diagnostic images for review
  • Maintain equipment and ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • Diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist program
  • Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists
  • BCLS-HCP certification

Salary Estimate: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
