About the Role

The Field Engineering role at BWXT Canada Ltd. is a key position in our organization, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of Field Services Projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-deployment support: Interpreting technical specifications and scope, applying CSA and ASME Codes, reviewing OPEX and Lessons Learned.
  • Project Execution support: Resolving all technical issues on site, ensuring quality program is followed, providing technical oversight to trades and technicians.
  • Project Close-out: Ensuring all quality records are completed and signed off by all parties, documenting and incorporating lessons learned.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably in the Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Nuclear discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience, registration as a Professional Engineer in Ontario, proficiency in Nuclear Codes ASME III, V, VIII, IX, N285, N286, Z299, N299, materials, machining techniques, field execution practices, NDE applications and limitations, excellent communication skills, ability to translate complex technical requirements into field executable procedures.
