We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice to join our team at Go Time Energy Services Ltd. As a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment, and adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts.

Work Setting

Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients, and we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including staff accommodation and various locations.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Attach components and adjust new farm equipment
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Perform other routine maintenance
Requirements
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Level one apprenticeship training
  • Level two apprenticeship training
  • Level three apprenticeship training
  • Level four apprenticeship training
  • Level five apprenticeship training
