Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Academic Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in an academic position. The successful candidate will contribute to medical education and research, while maintaining a clinical practice.
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta offers a well-established residency training program in psychiatry. Our team collaborates closely with Alberta Health Services, particularly within the Strategic Clinical Network Addiction & Mental Health Integration Network.
This opportunity allows for the development of an academic career alongside a clinical practice, providing a competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Candidates must possess an MD degree and be certified or eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons as a Psychiatrist with subspecialty training and/or designation in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Responsibilities include medical education, research, and participation in the Department's residency training program
- Teaching pre-clinical and clinical content to undergraduate MD students
