Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF IC Design Engineer to join our team at Edgewater Wireless. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced mixed-signal analog/RF ICs for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lab Characterization and System Performance: Conduct thorough lab characterization and system performance tests to ensure our ICs meet the highest standards.
  • Analog/RF IC Design Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of analog/RF integrated circuits and be able to design, layout, and verify complex ICs.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and meet project deadlines.
  • CMOS and BiCMOS IC Design: Have experience with CMOS and BiCMOS IC design and lab characterization.
  • Technical Leadership: Assume a technical lead role to mentor and lead junior design staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in analog/RF IC development.
  • Education: MS EE or equivalent minimum, PhD preferred.
Desired Skills
  • Wireless Transceiver Architectures: Excellent understanding of wireless transceiver architectures and design trade-offs.
  • SiGe IC Design: Experience with SiGe IC design.
  • RF System-Level Specifications: Fluency in RF system-level specifications.
  • Lab Characterization: Extensive experience in lab characterization.
  • IC Production and Foundry Interaction: Experience with IC production and foundry interaction.
  • Quality Product Delivery: Demonstrated track record of delivering quality products in complete product cycles.
