Requirements

  • STCW II/2 certification
  • Chief Officer or higher certification
  • Generic SVCEI training
  • Passenger Bridge Resource Management training (an asset)
  • Valid marine medical certificate
  • STCW Firefighting and Advanced Firefighting certifications
  • 4 months of experience as Chief Officer and 16 months of experience as Deck Officer on cargo ships
  • Proficiency in English (working language)
