Job Title: Concessions Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Concessions Attendant to join our team at the City of Thunder Bay. As a Concessions Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving fast food to the public, while maintaining a clean and organized concession area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by preparing and serving fast food in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Receive payments, deposit daily revenue, and complete daily cash summary sheets to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized concession area, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock spoilage.
  • Assist with maintaining concession stock and stock records, including ordering, receiving, and transferring stock.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Field Supervisor Concessions.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Current certifications in Ontario Smart Serve and Safe Food Handling (Level 1).
  • Ability to provide superior customer service and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have cash handling abilities and be able to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Class "G2" Ontario Driver's Licence and meet the definition of a competent driver as defined by the Corporation.

Working Conditions:

  • Must undergo a successful Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC).
  • Must maintain Safe Food Handling Certification (Level 1) and remain a competent driver as defined by the Corporation.
  • May be required to provide a successful driver's record (uncertified).
  • Will be required to work irregular hours and weekends.
