Job Description:

Golderado Contracting Corp is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Control Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing cost reports, tracking daily progress, and investigating potential out-of-scope work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly cost reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Progress Tracking: Review timesheets and track daily progress to identify areas for improvement and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Change Order Management: Investigate potential out-of-scope work, manage ongoing and potential change orders, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the project team, including procurement support, material receiving, invoicing, progress and quantity tracking, and data entry/collection.
  • Estimating: Assist in estimating and provide input on project costs and budgets.
  • Research and Analysis: Research historical data and compile summary reports to inform project decisions and improve cost control.
Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma and/or Post-Secondary education in Administration, Accounting, and/or Project Management or equivalent.
  • Experience: Project Administration, cost control, and/or Project Management experience required.
  • Software Skills: Knowledge and competence of various types of software, including B2W, Eclipse, and Asset Panda.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with multiple supervisors and sub-trades.
  • Transportation: A reliable means of transportation is required.
  • Language Skills: Proficient English language skills required.
