About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at East Coast Dental Group. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and ensure they are comfortable and relaxed throughout the process.
  • Perform intra-oral duties with precision and accuracy, working closely with our dentists to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Invoice patients for dental services in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accurate and transparent billing.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a dental setting.
  • Certifications: Membership in the Canadian Dental Assistants Association, Registration with provincial or territorial authorities, and Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.

Language and Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 to 44 hours per week in a fast-paced dental practice environment. Fluency in English is required.
