About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Rakesh Mehta. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands, helping to maintain their independence.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset, but not required.
  • Skills: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, reliable, patience, and honesty.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in the clients' homes, providing care and support in a safe and comfortable environment.

Language and Work Hours

The primary language spoken in this role is English, and the work hours are approximately 30 to 35 hours per week.
