Job Title: Store Manager

Are you a motivated and experienced retail professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Store Manager to join our team at Ardene.

Job Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all store operations, including merchandising, customer service, and team training and development. This is a key leadership role that requires strong business acumen, people development skills, and the ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit budgets
  • Train and develop store team members
  • Recruit and retain talent
  • Conduct administrative and operational duties
  • Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
  • Process and manage incoming merchandising shipments
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve them in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years retail management experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience and/or education in visual merchandising
  • Solid business acumen
  • Proven people development skills and ability to assess talent
  • Strong time management and priority-setting skills
  • Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and climb a ladder
  • Move, lift and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store (weighing up to 30 pounds)

Availability Requirements:

  • Days, evenings and weekends

The average wage for this position is $19.80 per hour.
