In this position, you will be responsible for drafting timely analysis of regulatory rules and decisions, assessing proposed regulatory strategies, and meeting with senior regulatory and government officials to discuss TELUS' positions on major public policy issues.
- Drafting submissions for public proceedings conducted before administrative and government bodies.
- Delivering timely analysis of regulatory rules and decisions.
- Meeting with senior regulatory and government officials.
- Advising senior management and business units on new regulations and supporting compliance activities.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience practicing law with expertise in written advocacy, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to manage complex files involving cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Drafting and submitting responses to public consultations and notices of intent to adopt or amend regulations.
- Analyzing regulatory proposals and their potential impact on the company.
- Preparing and presenting presentations to internal stakeholders and senior management.
