Job Title: Material Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our team at Universal Mobile & Industrial Solutions.

Job Summary:

The Material Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and track orders and instructions received from customers
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient material flow
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and material movements
  • Organize and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports and other documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • 1-6 months of experience in a related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in database software and MS Office
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
