Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our team at Universal Mobile & Industrial Solutions. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, tracking and completing work orders, and maintaining accurate records and logs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile orders and instructions received from customers and coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
  • Track and complete work orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, including inventory levels and work order status.
  • Organize warehouse and work areas to ensure efficient workflow and minimize errors.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner.
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports, including inventory levels and work order status.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in database software, inventory control software, and MS Office.
