Job Title: Dispatch Logistician

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Logistician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Reliability and team player
