Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Driver Companion. As a Driver Companion, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients by providing transportation, socialization, and emotional reassurance.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive clients to various locations as required, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
  2. Engage with clients through conversation, socialization, and emotional support, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  3. Assist clients with groceries and parcels, as well as provide physical support with getting in and out of the vehicle.
  4. Monitor and report any changes or concerns related to clients' physical, emotional, or environmental conditions to Spectrum management.

Requirements

  1. A valid G license with access to a reliable vehicle.
  2. A clear driver's abstract and Class 07 Rider certification.
  3. An updated immunization record, including a TB test, and a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Report.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping others.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18 per hour, plus additional compensation for mileage and expenses. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
