About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Department of Pediatric Anesthesia, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to our young patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical anesthesia services to pediatric patients, including those requiring complex care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Contribute to the academic mandate of our department, including education, research, and faculty development
  • Collaborate with our Clinical and Research Fellowship Program to advance the field of pediatric anesthesia
Requirements
  • Medical degree and eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Recognized anesthesia training and subspecialty training in pediatric anesthesia
  • Experience in tertiary/quaternary centre pediatric anesthesia
  • Interest and training in pediatric pain medicine, clinical research, or quality improvement
