Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 people, including janitors, caretakers, and building superintendents.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
