About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Associate Veterinarian to join our team at the Penticton Veterinary Hospital in Penticton, BC.

This is a permanent, full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description
  • Provide high-quality medical care and exceptional service to clients and patients.
  • Advocate for animal welfare and quality of life by building strong relationships with clients and other departments.
  • Perform and interpret laboratory procedures, administer anesthetics, and monitor patients during surgery and recovery.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the healthcare team about daily schedules and caseloads.
Requirements
  • Licensure to practice medicine and be in good standing with the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia (CVBC) or ability to attain licensure before the date of hire.
  • Demonstrated abilities in practicing quality veterinary medicine, including knowledge of shelter medicine and behavior modification.
  • Strong computer skills for managing diagnostic tests and client information.
  • Commitment to working safely with and around animals.
  • Ability to speak a language other than English is considered an asset.
