Registered Veterinary Technologist Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our team at Tri Lake Animal Hospital & Referral Centre in Lake Country, BC.
As an RVT, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of cases, including companion animals and exotic species. You will participate in providing wellness and preventative care, assist in the management of urgent care, and oversee anesthesia for both elective and emergency surgery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical skills and knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy
- Assist in surgical preparation, assisting, and patient recovery
- Keep detailed and accurate patient records
- Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Problem-solve and ask clarifying questions to help find solutions
- Work effectively with colleagues and clients
