Aircraft Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Whitehorse, Yukon. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a reputable airline and gain valuable experience in aircraft maintenance.
About the RoleThe Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining Air North's aircraft in a safe and effective manner. This includes servicing, inspecting, repairing, and monitoring of aircraft to ensure airworthiness standards are met.
Responsibilities- Servicing and inspecting aircraft to ensure they meet airworthiness standards
- Repairing and maintaining aircraft components
- Monitoring aircraft performance and making recommendations for improvement
- Apprenticeship program under the direct supervision of a qualified mechanic
- Transport Canada criteria for acquisition of an AME M2 rated license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
