Key Responsibilities- Identify Customer-Level Growth Opportunities
Utilize data analysis to identify customer-level growth and profit opportunities, driving business growth and revenue expansion.
Drive Category and Brand PerformanceDevelop and implement strategies to drive category and brand performance with our customers, leveraging MAPS recommendations (Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing, Shelving) to drive continuous improvement across key KPIs.
Build Holistic Category ReviewsConduct comprehensive category reviews from multiple data sources (Nielsen, Retailer POS, Numerator, and others) to become a valued and trusted category resource for assigned retailers.
Customize Materials for CustomersDevelop tailored materials for assigned customers as part of sell-in, defense, and/or opportunity-building presentations.
Drive Improved Analytics UsageSupport the adoption of analytics and insights within the Customer Sales team for assigned retailers.
Support Planogram DevelopmentCollaborate in the creation of 'Gold Standard' planogram visions for assigned categories, analyzing and creating planograms in line with this vision for both internal and external teams.
Requirements- Education and Experience
A University Degree, with an MBA being an asset. Minimum 2-3 years of Category Management, Sales, and/or Marketing experience in the CPG industry.
Industry KnowledgeStrong familiarity with the Canadian marketplace and the dynamic that exists between brands, retailers, and consumers.
Technical SkillsStrong working knowledge of JDA Space Planning software, Retailer POS experience, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Working knowledge of MS Power BI is an asset.
Language SkillsAbility to communicate bilingually in English and French (speaking, reading, writing) is an asset.
