**Job Summary**

We are hiring for a Pharmacist at our location in a Western Canadian community. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
  • Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
  • Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Remaining current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
  • Providing private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centered care culture.
  • Providing clinical services, including medication management and health screening.

**Responsibilities**

As a Pharmacist at Save-On-Foods, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical services to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Canadian Pharmacist license and be in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Your injection certification.
  • Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
  • Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
  • The ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge when required.
