About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Liberty Kitchen Saskatoon. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are served in a timely and efficient manner
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas
    • Ensure that all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Assist in the receiving, unpacking, and storing of supplies and inventory
    • Ensure that all supplies and inventory are properly labeled and stored
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Work Experience
    • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Personal Qualities
    • Dependability
    • Team player
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment is required.
