Head of Sales and Customer Relationships

GrainCorp is a leading player in the global supply chain, offering a comprehensive range of services from origination to end-user delivery. With a strong presence in eastern Australia, we service over 350 customers across 50 countries, originating grain from Australia, Canada, the UK, and Ukraine. Our global network includes overseas offices in Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, and Delhi, providing direct connections with customers. We operate seven ports on Australia's east coast and a joint-venture port in Vancouver, Canada, offering high-speed rail export capabilities.
About the RoleThe Head of Relationships - Sales will be responsible for leading a team of customer-focused sales and services individuals to drive sales across the Nutrition & Energy product ranges. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining sales budgets and forecasts, developing sales strategies, and cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers across the Nutrition and Energy product categories. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in an Agribusiness, FMCG, F2B, or B2B sector, with tertiary qualifications in marketing, economics, business, or a related discipline.
About Your ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have an understanding of agricultural markets, previous experience within a customer-focused digital transformation, and the ability to use a range of strategies and skills to create and coach a highly motivated, results-oriented team. Collaborative and exceptional communication skills are essential for success in this role.
